Meet Your Artist Photographer
I am so fortunate to have been given a chance for a second career after my long tenure in the banking industry. Exploring my creativity all over again after years of "left-brained" analytical work has certainly given my life so much joy. Photography opened possibilities for me to meet new friends, and be able to create memories for them to cherish for years to come. Whether they're celebrating family milestones, like birthdays and graduations, or simply having a desire to gift loved ones with precious mementos, these photo sessions give me such a rewarding feeling as I share my talent in instantaneously capturing that moment in time while being a part of the whole experience. Personally, I feel that photographs are "gifts that keep on giving" -- they leave you with lasting reminders of faces and places you want to remember over and over again. To be able to fulfill my clients' vision of how they want their unique stories told through these digital narratives, is what drives my true passion for this art form.
As an artist photographer, I create lifestyle portraits for families in the Dallas-Fort Worth area celebrating much anticipated events such as reunions, senior graduations, anniversaries, holidays, etc. My professional portfolio also includes editorial and commercial photography of red carpet events, theater/concerts, corporate headshots, fashion/runway, travel and real estate. My family portraiture style is defined as colorful, fun and whimsy; where as my commercial work is considered dramatic, bold and engaging. All of my images are produced using the latest innovative post-processing techniques that give them their distinctive style. A few of my work have been awarded and exhibited in Dallas and New York City.
In 2022, I have fulfilled a personal and career goal of becoming a Certified Professional Photographer. The Certified Professional Photographer (CPP) Certification program is recognized throughout the industry as a mark of excellence. When you see a photographer displaying the Certified Professional Photographer seal, you can be assured that he or she is among the less than 8% of all imaging professionals who have successfully completed and maintained credentials required by the Professional Photographers of America.
As a way of giving back and making a difference, I support and provided my services to charitable causes such as Attitudes & Attire, Help-Portrait, Preemie Prints, and Heart Gallery of North Texas. When I am not behind the camera, you will find me out and about in our community of Allen, Texas. I make the most of my "off camera" time by involving myself in various events and programs to promote art education in our city. I am grateful to my wonderful husband Steve and our three daughters, Jennifer, Jordana and Jaden. I am immensely blessed by my family's love and support of my work and dedicate all of my creative endeavors to them.

"My interest in photography is not to capture an image I see or even have in my mind, but to explore the potential of moments I can only imagine." -- Lois Greenfield
